Hi, I’m Dr. Ana Carina Ordaz

Pre-Licensed Professional, PhD

"Reaching out to seek a clearer understanding of your family or child’s unique needs is a profound act of care and an undeniable testament to your bravery. You are the true knowledge-holder and collaborator of your family system, and you deserve a space where you feel entirely seen. Together, we can help build the tools to navigate your world with confidence and map out a path to lasting connection."

My Approach

With more than 10 years of experience supporting children, adolescents, and families, Dr. Ana Carina Ordaz’s practice centers on walking beside you through life's challenges. Her clinical work focuses on creating culturally rooted, relationship-centered spaces where individuals feel deeply supported, understood, and empowered.

As a clinician with a PhD, her approach is heavily rooted in Liberation Psychology and Mujerista frameworks. She specializes in trauma-informed care that directly addresses complex forms of systemic disruption. Whether parsing through grief, anxiety, child-welfare involvement (foster care, adoption, kinship care), family reunification, or immigration-related challenges, she works diligently to protect and honor the realities of our communities. By viewing individual experiences within the broader context of your family's story and upbringing, she assists you in cultivating the exact tools and values you hope to carry forward.
